For 33 days, you will receive meditations based on the teachings of St. Louis de Montfort and you will be guided, step by step, to understand true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and prepare yourself for the Act of Consecration.

Solemn Act of Consecration to Our Lady
The preparation will take place online, allowing you to follow the meditations every day from the comfort of your home.
Why Consecrate Yourself to Our Lady?
If God chose to come into the world through Mary, why should we not go to Him through her?
God could have chosen any other path to accomplish the Incarnation. But He willed that His only-begotten Son should come into the world through a woman: the Blessed Virgin Mary.
It was through Mary’s “yes” that the Word became flesh. It was in her most pure womb that the Son of God chose to dwell. It was under her care that Jesus lived the first years of His earthly life. And it was at the foot of the Cross that Mary remained united, with a Mother’s heart, to the sacrifice of her Son.
Our Lady is intimately united to Our Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason, St. Louis de Montfort taught that the more we belong to Mary, the more we belong to Jesus.
This same spirituality marked the life of St. John Paul II, who found in the teachings of St. Louis a path for his own vocation. His papal motto sums it all up:
Totus Tuus – Totally Yours, Mary.
Two words that express the heart of true devotion: to belong to Mary in order to belong more perfectly to Jesus.
And it is precisely for this surrender that you will prepare over these 33 days.

Do Not Consecrate Yourself to Our Lady If...
…you are simply looking for one more devotion to add to your prayers.
The Consecration taught by St. Louis de Montfort is much more than a beautiful prayer, a medal, or the title of being a devotee.
Do not consecrate yourself if you do not truly desire to give your life to Jesus through the hands of Mary.
Do not consecrate yourself if you do not want to learn what the Church teaches about Our Lady’s mission in the work of Redemption.
Do not consecrate yourself if you think that Our Lady will take the place that belongs to God alone. Because true devotion to Mary never ends with her: She always leads to Jesus.
Do not consecrate yourself simply because someone told you that you should. Consecration is a free, conscious, and voluntary act.

What Does the Act of Consecration Represent?
At the end of the 33 days, you will be invited to take a concrete step.
The preparation does not simply end with the final meditation.
It leads to a special moment: the Solemn Act of Consecration.
In this act, following the method of St. Louis de Montfort, you give yourself entirely to Jesus Christ through the hands of Mary, placing under her maternal protection your life, your spiritual and temporal goods, and all that you are and possess.
This is not merely a symbolic gesture.
It is a conscious and voluntary surrender, made with the desire to belong more perfectly to Our Lord.
Mary does not turn us away from Jesus. Mary leads us to Jesus.
The One who was the first to say “Behold the handmaid of the Lord” desires to teach us, too, to make our lives a generous response to God’s will.
Therefore, at the end of this preparation, you will also have the opportunity to say:
“I am all yours, my dear Lady, and all that I have is yours.”
